Well, we think Natalie Gulbis has improved her golf game every year. Look at her statistics. Her driving accuracy and greens in regulation are very good. However you have to be over 70% in both and on the LPGA tour, there are a lot more players who have similar averages.
The last couple years Natalie Gulbis has made a lot more birdies, this has helped her move up the leaderboards and earnings, unfortunately she has yet to capture her first LPGA Tour win.
Most putting statistics provide a number for putts per green in regulation, such as 1.78; however, this does not take into account how many times she makes par when missing a green. Natalie's sand saves are very poor, which points out a weakness in her game and its most likely that her chipping is probably a bit weak as well. Saving a par or bogey at the right time is most likely what is keeping Natalie Gulbis out of the winners circle.
What do you think about Natalie Gulbis' game?
We wish the LPGA had a tournament in the Dallas Fort Worth area so we could meet her; because like Jan Stephenson of yesteryear, Natalie Gulbis is Smokin'!
Here's to wishing Natalie gets her first win in 2006!
