Mizuno Golf

Mizuno Golf has long been defined by their excellence in execution of their best in class products featured throughout the world. Whether in the hands of PGA Tour star, Luke McDonald who just used his Mizuno Golf Clubs to win the championship at the Scottish Open, or a young boy or girl learning the game for the first time, Mizuno’s unparalleled commitment to furthering the game of golf is evident throughout their product line. Taking a closer look at those products only continues to tell the tale of Mizuno’s approach the game of golf.

Mizuno Drivers & Woods

Arguably the club to get things going off the tee is the driver, and Mizuno Golf has placed a great amount of precision and design into theirs. Mizuno’s latest innovation to hit the range and set precedents for how drives should look and feel is the Mizuno JPX-800 Golf Driver. Featuring a multi-thickness club face for explosive drives and consistently high ball speeds, their Ultimate Dynamic Stability (UDS) for more forgiveness on miss-hits and a monster 460cc Ti Construction for maximum distance off of the tee make this driver tops among Mizuno Drivers offered today.

In addition to the big dogs, Mizuno also has a number of great woods in their bag as well. Whether a long wood off the fairway on a big Par 5 is required, or the finesse of a hybrid for those closer, more skillful shots, Mizuno also offers their JPX-800 FW Fairway Wood as well as their JPX-800 Hybrid Golf Wood. Each offering the same precision and design that went into creating the driver, these woods are a must have for those golfers looking to take strokes off of their scorecard.

Mizuno Irons

Long known for the quality of their irons as well Mizuno Irons are among the hottest on the market today. Offering a variety of irons from deep cavity backed irons to forged irons to hybrid irons, Mizuno Irons ensure there is a club for every skill level on the market. In addition, these Mizuno Irons are designed with shot control and placement accuracy in mind.

There are a number of Mizuno Irons available today, however; some of their hottest clubs on the market currently are either the JPX-800 Irons that compliment the JPX-800 Woods, or the MP Series featuring three dynamic options; the MP-53, MP-63 and the MP-58. The JPX-800 Irons are designed more for those looking to improve their overall game. Drivers will get you to the fairway, but irons will take you home. With this in mind the JPX-800 was designed to allow for more accuracy while out on the course, but much like their counterpart woods, they are more forgiving should one chunk a shot.

The MP series is set up for those who have a solid handle on their game already and are looking to simply refine their approach. Although not as forgiving as the JPX-800 Series, the MP series is a solid club from top to bottom, still offering a generous sweet spot, and an unbelievable feel when one makes solid contact.

Mizuno Wedges

Not only has Mizuno golf provide power and accuracy off the tee, and continued drive and control down the fairway, but they have also developed a great line of wedges to use when right up by the green. Mizuno’s MP T-11 Golf Wedge is a stout performer for those lob shots to get in close to the pin. Offering a 56-degree angle and a forged carbon steel head, teamed with Mizuno’s patented “Quad Cut grooves on the clubface, this wedge is precision accuracy at its finest. In addition, the spin and roll one can put on a ball with this wedge in their hand will ensure nothing but close puts throughout their round.

Whereas Mizuno’s signature MP T-11 wedge features a 56-degree clubface, they offer lofts ranging from 50-degree all the way up to 64-degree pitches for those shots requiring a little more distance or a tad more finesse. Regardless of one’s wedge needs, Mizuno Golf has them covered for any shot around the green.

Mizuno Putters

Drivers, woods and wedges are great, but where the real money is made is on the green. Being able to sink all of one’s puts from the short three-footer, to the sixty-footer the pros drain on TV, is what drives the design of Mizuno putters . Partnering feel and overall accuracy is the goal Mizuno Golf strives for on a daily basis.

Among Mizuno’s best ideas as they pertain to putters, there is no better feel or touch when on the green than the Mizuno Bettinardi A Series putters. Designed to offer one of the smoothest swinging putters on the market, the Bettinardi A Series line, consistently performs in helping golfers effortlessly sink putts from anywhere on the green. In addition, the Bettinardi A Series putter is the first off the line featuring a one-piece milled design, and was an exclusive partnership between Mizuno and world-renowned putter designer Robert J. Bettinardi.

Another of Mizuno Putters great products is their Mizuno Bettinardi C Series putters. Featuring more of a classic look of a blade putter, this putter was designed for those golfers preferring the look and feel of the older-school putters. The look should not fool anyone though, as the Mizuno Bettinardi C Series putter is another solid effort in usability and design coming out of Mizuno Golf . Lightweight, made out of carbon steel, and a thick faceplate on it, makes the Mizuno Bettinardi C Series formidable competition for any putter on the market.

As one can see, Mizuno Golf has their players fitted with high-quality clubs for every shot they will ever need to take on a golf course. In addition to making great clubs, Mizuno also offers a wide array of bags, spikes, golf balls and apparel. Although Mizuno Golf may not have set out to be the industry leader, with the precision and quality coming out of their shops today, it is easy to see that is exactly where they are heading.
