Cobra Golf

Thomas Crow, an Australian golf champion, is the founder of the small golf club company known as Cobra Golf. The company has developed several unique patented designs that golfing enthusiasts enjoy. One of their first designs was a utility wood called the “Baffler,” which is known for its sole-plate design. They are also known for the 46-inch driver with a graphite head and shaft. The first oversized irons were also released by this company. Ian Poulter, Geoff Ogilvy and Camilo Villegas all use Cobra golf clubs. Older Cobra models included the 400 SZ Driver, F-Speed, Hs9, S2 440, Forged CB.

Cobra Drivers

Most low to mid-handicap golfers are recommended to have a driver, along with three different wedges in their golfing arsenal. Cobra drivers accommodate a range of playing levels from amateur to accomplished player.

Cobra S3 drivers

Cobra S3 drivers possess the revolutionary E9 Face Technology that creates a 30% larger Sweet Zone for increased accuracy, distance and forgiveness. The Adjustable Flight Technology is included to increase distance and accuracy of the shot. The three simple face-angle settings aid in achieving these goals. Master players’ golf strokes were examined to come up with this innovative design. Titanium 6-4 head and face with aluminum hosel sleeve is characteristic of the Cobra S3 drivers.

Limited Edition ZL Driver

The Limited Edition ZL Driver is an award-winning and high performance driver with a Fujikura Motore Speeder Shaft. With all white cosmetics, Adjustable Flight Technology, 6-4 Titanium body, Milled 6-4 Titanium insert and Carbon Composite Crown and Sole, the Limited Edition ZL provides even the accomplished player with the performance desired.

Cobra Wedges

An avid golfer may want a pitching wedge, a gap wedge, a lob wedge and a sand wedge in his or her arsenal. Cobra wedges are designed for golfers that desire maximum forgiveness and high launch.

Cobra S3 Max Wedges

These wedges have a low profile and wide sole. Cobra S3 Max wedges provides maximum forgiveness, high launch and minimal turf interaction with its unique design. The redistributed weight throughout the heads and the Powerback Sole are desirable for most.

Cobra S3 Pro Gap Wedge

Cobra S3 Pro Gap Wedge is designed for low-handicap golfers that would like to improve control of their swing. These wedges are constructed from 1025 carbon steel and offer maximum versatility. The weighted perimeter promotes higher launch and added forgiveness for long and accurate shots. The finish of the wedges reduce glare.

Cobra Irons

The Cobra S3 irons and the Cobra S3 Max irons are some of the better performing irons produced by the manufacturer. Most players with a low to mid handicap will carry three through nine-irons for shot versatility. Cobra irons are some of the best in their class.

Cobra S3 Irons

Cobra S3 irons provide performance through advanced technology. The E9 Face Technology provided golfers with the forgiveness, accuracy, distance and feel that most golfers desire. The Cobra S3 irons are made of 17-4 hyper steel and 17-4 stainless steel.

Each iron has a hidden internal polymer topline with a full cavity thermoplastic urethane (TPU). The construction is used to optimize weight distribution and vibration for superior feel and distance. Golfers covet the narrowing mid-width sole of the toe and heel. This feature promotes consistent distance and accuracy.

Cobra S3 Max Irons

Cobra S3 Max irons lower the center of gravity to achieve higher launch and more forgiveness. Through the redistribution of the weight, the designer was able to help golfers achieve more forgiveness. Mid to high handicap golfers tend to purchase Cobra S3 Max irons which are made of 17-4 Stainless Steel.

Hybrid Clubs

Hybrid clubs add another dimension to the game of golf. Cobra hybrids are available for both men and women. Currently, the Baffler DWS and Baffler TWS are the number one selling hybrids on the market, as well as, some of the best performing.

Both the Baffler DWS and Baffler TWS are known for increased forgiveness, versatility and distance. Hybrids are recommended for players of all skill levels that would like to improve their long game. The steel face improves the ball speed and rail sold to improve turf interaction by reducing drag. The four-way rail sole reduces club interaction with the ground which yields maximum forgiveness. Nine-point face technology promotes distance and forgiveness.

Cobra Putters

Cobra does not focus on putter design. Putters, however, are essential to the golf game and are a matter of personal choice. If you are purchasing a set of clubs, putters are typically not included. Most golfers must select their putter by the feel, rather than by pre-determined rules. Some putters are heavier than others and better constructed than others. Select a putter that fits your own style.

Cobra Golf Accessories and Apparel

Cobra has a number of accessories that help to make the golf game more comfortable. From golfing bags to umbrellas, Cobra offers a number of accessories to help golfers coordinate while on the course. Cobra umbrellas provide shade from the sun while waiting or during a temporary shower. The unique construction and the bold yellow and black colors are desirable.

Tour towels and custom fit hats are also available. Hats also block the sun from the eyes, while tour towels keep the sweat from the brow or hands. Golf bags are available in a variety of sizes and combinations of black, white and yellow. Some are slightly smaller and others are larger with numerous compartments. The straps on the bags are padded and are complete with an umbrella loop, towel ring, rain hood and ergonomic rubber handle. Some bags also have seven or more pockets with insulated beverage pockets and organizer pockets.

Golf Balls

Cobra does not make golf balls, but they are an essential component of golf. Golf balls may help a player achieve the spin that he or she wants to achieve or achieve more control. A ball with a harder cover, for instance, may be designed for a player with a higher handicap. The harder the cover, the lower the spin rate will be.

Softer balls have a lower compression rating. If your swing speed is low, select a low compression ball to take advantage of the spring affect. If you desire to achieve the spin affect, select a ball with a high 9-iron spin. The ball will roll back after striking the green, if the shot is executed properly with your Cobra Golf Clubs.
